Evo Street Racers Wants You for the Amateur Racer Recognition Source: Evo Street Racers Competition Dept. In an effort to highlight individuals who have made the transition from racing on the street to the track Evo Street Racers has implemented a recognition program. Once a month an Amateur racer will be featured with an article detailing his experiences and reasons for racing on the street, the reasons s/he stopped, the process of creating and running a vehicle in an amateur racing series, and his/her future plans. Director of Studies & Research Matt Arrigo stated “It is very important for our members and viewers to not only learn why illegal-street racing is so dangerous and the alternatives from our huge database/4 stage program but also from the very people whom have raced illegally on street, realized their mistakes, and have managed to run a successful amateur race program.” Director of Competition Wojciech Kozlowski stated “Evo Street Racers was founded on the premise of assisting in the evolution of Illegal Street Racers into Motorsports racers; this new program further expands on how Evo supports both the street and amateur racers into reaching their goals of fielding a race team by bringing the racers free national exposure.” The first winner will be declared in January 2009! Please e-mail Evo Street Racers to apply: info@evostreetracers.com or click here to fill out the form.
