UPDATE: WV Beat the Heat Challenge - May 22-23rd

Official Press Release From Jim Butler and the St. Albans Beat the Heat:

The event is May 22-23 at the Kanawha Valley Dragway, on U. S. Rt. WV BTH 35 in Mason County, WV. We have police officers from five states bringing souped up cop cars.

On Friday at the track Beat the Heat members will accept challenges from all comers at the track. We do give preference to high school and college age drivers. We will have t-shirts for the first 30 challengers to win against a cop.

On Saturday the Beat the Heat teams will bracket race among themselves for title of WV Beat the Heat Champ and we will host a youth bracket race with prizes for the winner.
