From the President's office:

Pursuing a career in law enforcement is a selfless dedication in protecting those in danger and maintaining a peaceful environment for all to enjoy.  The lost of a police officer is especially disheartening and disturbing because of their commitment to society through the badge: honor, duty and courage.

Senior Officer Canales pursued a life which was truly rich.  His pursuit for continuous improvement of his community was admirable.  He went beyond the badge into enlisting those same principles in his personal life as he volunteered his time in Beat the Heat and the NHRA Junior Dragster program.  Officer Canales spent hundreds of hours in his personal life assisting America’s future leaders to safe, legal, and fun alternatives to driving recklessly, drinking, and drugs.

May Officer Canales forever be remembered for the amazing contributions he gave to his community and family.

On the behalf of Evo Street Racers, we express our deepest condolences for the lost to the family, friends, and community which Officer Canales served.
