Although illegal street racing has been a part of the American Car Culture ever since the inception of a motor into a buggy the scene gained substantial strength and public notoriety in the late 80's and early 90's. During this time frame the Sports Compact Car scene grew where the muscle car age dominated decades prior. The choice power plant on the street was no longer large normally aspirated V8s rather turbo charged four and six cylinder engines with nitrous for an extra kick. Unfortunately one attribute did not change over time, the dangerous nature of illegal street racing. To this end Evo searched for a Sports Compact Car of his era that best fit the scene and came across a 1991 Mr2 Turbo. Much like the association's Honda CBR-1000RR look to the Mr-2 acting as an ambassador by deterring Illegal Street racing on the street, select motorsports events, and at Official Evo Street Racing Events.
