Street racing is blamed for a roll-over accident on southbound 805 near Adams Ave. Monday night.

The CHP tells San Diego 6 News that two street racers caused an accident.  One of the racers left the scene.  An SUV crashed and rolled over, possibly after getting tangled up with one of the racers.

A Sig Alert was issued from 7:21 until 8:14 Monday evening.  The three left lanes were blocked by the accident involving an SUV and a car.

The CHP says the crash happened on the freeway just before the Adams Avenue exit.
