Alleged Street Racing Crash In Midtown

The Tucson Police Department is investigating a street racing crash on Saturday afternoon. Officers say a Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang were allegedly street racing down Grant Road. The vehicles crashed into a Crown Victoria at Rosemont.

The Mustang rolled several times, ejecting a passenger from the car. Emergency crews had to use an axe to cut the driver out of the car. Both suffered serious injuries.

The people inside the Camaro and Crown Victoria were not seriously hurt.
